Chris Yalonis, Co-Founder and President, VenturePad; Marketing strategy & analysis, B-Plans


Chris advises clients on marketing research, strategy, business models and plans, and pro formas. Chris is an entrepreneur/senior executive with 25 years in market and sustainability strategy consulting, software and Web based start-ups, corporate and civic sustainability planning and execution. Since 2002, Chris has founded and led consultancies, completing over 500 marketing intelligence and sustainability projects and programs with large and small multiyear clients, across sectors including: software and apps, food and AG, financial services, healthcare and wellness, cleantech, education. In the 1990’s, he led multinational teams with MarketTools (Chief Research Officer), whose technology became Survey Monkey, and as VP of Global Consulting at IT market analyst firm International Data Corporation ($30M P&L). Alejandro Moreno S., VP Marketing & Co-founder, VenturePad; Start-up marketing strategy, social media, idea synthesis, connecting the dots from the big picture vision to launch tactics. 

Alejandro is a polyglot (natively fluent Spanish, conversational French & Italian) with a greenMBA from Dominican and a proud Cal Bear alum. He previously led marketing & operations with Marin’s former leading accelerator Venture Greenhouse. His expertise is with start-ups, digital marketing, social media, outreach, lead development & management, website content, editing and proofreading; Spanish translation and simultaneous interpreting as well. Past consulting clients include Earth Day Marin, LIFT Economy, Permaculture Consulting, CCEnergy, Dr. Rachman Chung, Daily Nutra & the BUSD.
